No Frills Supermarkets

Hello. My name is Michel Bilodeau. I frequently shop at the Goulet location in Winnipeg MB. This evening, I was bagging my groceries, when a man who was stealing, was asked by the security guard to show him what was in his bag. The man began causing a scene and began shouting and swearing toward the guard. As the situation escalated, the guard began de escalating the situation by telling the man to leave. As the thug approached where I was bagging at the end of the till, he began shouting at the customers, its YOU that has to pay!! I turned to face him as he came near and stated, so we have to pay and you dont?! I asked. The man was still focusing on the security guard and begun shouting hit me. Hit me. See what happens I felt like the situation was about to get worse, I felt that this man, who was a couple feet from me could attack at anytime. It wasnt safe for anyone. I was livid because of what I was watching happen in front of me. There were two elderly women, and a young boy well under the age of ten close by. As the man I left the store and walked to the parking lot shaking my head with blood boiling. As I drove away, I could see the shoplifter making himself comfortable in the bus shack right across from the door he had JUST walked out of. I ranted about what had just happened to my partner, and when I arrived home, I realized that half of my purchase was missing. I checked the car. I thought about it and came up with various scenarios. Maybe I had left half of my groceries at the store , or outside. I panicked and tried calling the store directly, but was directed to a 1-888 number. The store was closing in a few minutes, so returning was not an option. I looked for my receipt as I decided what to do next. I could not find it. Its got to be in the other bag I thought. ( the one left behind). I searched my phone for a mobile receipt or a debit notification from my bank, and found nothing. Its at that moment that it dawned on me that I must have walked out of the store in a state of fight or flight. I slowly pieced together what I think happened, and it is that I walked out, left half of my groceries behind, and hadnt paid for anything. This is a long winded version of events. I would like to get ahold of the store, and pay for my groceries. Can you please provide me with a contact # and name of someone in charge. It is the Goulet st. Store in Winnipeg MB. Sincerely, Michel
